Title : Post Age

Medium : Paper Collage

Size : 10 x 16 ᴄᴍs

As the title suggests, Post-age talks about bygone days when people would write postcards to each other. The assorted stamps used to be narratives that connected people with stories from everywhere, and signified journeys and destinations. However, in contemporary times, digital communication and social media have replaced that deeply personal human touch which a postcard signified. Google Mail replacing the old postal stamps in an hourglass condense the notion of passing time and changing technology in our everyday communication. Post-age is a nostalgic ode to the ritual of letter writing.
