'Bindu', is considered the point at which creation begins and becomes unity. It is the point around which the mandala is created, representing the universe. In Tantra, Bindu symbolizes Lord Shiva, who is believed to be the source of creation. In my work I have divided the Bindu in 24 parts. The first 12 parts represent 12 stages of suffering, and the next 12 parts represent no cause no effect. Due to awareness of mind, formation of mental conditioning stops, ending the process of birth and death, leading one to the eternity. Further, there are 29 circles intersecting at various points, representing the 29 states of India and the different cultures and people associated to them. At the universal level, all existence originates from Bindu and will return to Bindu when physical life ends.
