Through this work I show my concern regarding the subsidence of the city of Venice, considered to be one of the most beautiful and famous cities in the world. Taking reference from the geographical map of city, I have depicted some mass of land as the form of hand, protecting the beauty of Venice from the rising waters of the sea as it is sinking into the water faster than what was predicted. The layered fabric collage in the mural signifies the complexity that surrounds the questions of climate change and global warming, symbolically showing balance between land and water, and wishing for a better future.
