Like the plants that contain flowers within them, flowers that await the spring to blossom and fill the world with their colors, the bundles in my work await their turn to be untied, and to be let loose. The tied-up bundles are the tropes that represent women and their desires that can take wings only if there is freedom to do so. Our society has created many boundaries that manifest through tradition and culture, confining women within their own selves, often trapping their capacities. If given a chance to be free, each bundle contains capacity to reveal beauty and strength that is hidden from the world. Each bundle, therefore, contains potential to be free from bondages, as represented through the one that has let the flowers fly high depicting the inner strength of women.
