    We often feel the need to escape not just from circumstances, but also from our own memories that haunt our thoughts. The gunny sack is emblematic of such a space that we all long for, or have already created, a space to which we abscond to protect our deepest thoughts. This sculpture is created using wood and bronze, reflecting a tough exterior that protects the delicate core.
