This sculpture portrays the circle of life, much like a seed that germinates and bursts into a leaf that is prepared for experiencing life in its entirety. Ultimately, every conception is followed by death, and existence ceases to be. Two leaves are shown intermingled as if they are holding each other, knowing that soon they must part forever. The leaves mirror the life journey of all living beings.
