One of the many lessons that the Covid pandemic has taught is that freedom, usually taken for granted, is very precious. The sculpture portrays a human being enviously observing the birds sitting out in the open space, while he is caged indoors. Ironically, while caging the birds, one never anticipates that birds can be replaced by human beings, and that freedom matters equally to all living beings.
