Title: Smoke of Happiness
Medium: Glazed stoneware
Size: 16 x 16 x 17 cms
The irony of smoking cigarettes is that while it causes momentary happiness, it stealthily destroys the body of the smoker. The human face amongst the cigarette stubs in this sculpture symbolizes the smoked-up, ash-like existence of the one who consumed it happily.
