Winner of the National Lalit Kala Akademi award (New Delhi) in the year 2001, ‘Family Fun’ is homage to the humor in old age, an age where one can laugh the life away, an age where one can experience the lightness of being. An old man attempting to crack a walnut with his dentures and having a good laugh about it, captures the joy of sharing happy moments with loved ones, a rare sight now in the digital world. The elderly people of the family are not only significant links in the family ties, but they also are the ones with larger perspectives about life and living.
